Shillong, Jun 19: The Shooting Association of Meghalaya (SAM) will conduct the 4th Meghalaya State Shooting Championship at the Assam Regimental Centre here on 23rd and 24th June.
In a press release today, SAM said that the championship will be organised in collaboration with the Directorate of Sports & Youth Affairs under the aegis of the National Rifle Association of India, with a International Shooting Sport Federation judge and competition director overseeing proceedings.
SAM expects around 70 shooters to take part in the two-day event.
The championship will feature 10m rifle and pistol events, 25m pistol, 50m rifle open sight and peep sight and 50m pistol for males and females in youth, junior and senior divisions.
