Shillong, Aug 18: To celebrate Independence Day, the Meghalaya Basketball Association (MBA), in collaboration with Touchline Northeast conducted the 3×3 Independence Day Cup at the JN Sports Complex basketball court on Wednesday.
There were 51 participating teams in all (24 men’s, 10 women’s, nine U-17 boys’ and eight U-17 girls’). With four members in each team, the total number of all participants was over 200.
The chief guest on the occasion was MBA President Clive Dunai.
Results:
Men’s – SKKRRAAPP (winners), LIGMA (runners-up)
Women’s – Hoop it up (winners), EIDY 4 (runners-up)
U-17 boys’ – Jaguars (winners), Hit Em Up (runners-up)
U-17 girls’ – Tyllilang Basketball Academy (winners), ZONGS (runners-up)
