Shillong, May 25: Shillong Lajong cruised into the semifinals of the Junior League final round by topping Group C after their third consecutive victory at the Kalyani Stadium in Kolkata today.
Needing just a draw to qualify, Lajong defeated Sudeva FC 2-0 with goals from Glennys Lynrah (13’) and Badonlang Rapsang (36’).
SLFC haven’t been defeated even once this campaign but will have a real challenge ahead of them when they take on last year’s champions Minerva Punjab in the last-four stage on 27th May.
