Shillong, Jun 7: The girls’ and boys’ finals of the State-Level Chief Minister’s U-12 Football Tournament will be held tomorrow, with four separate districts reaching the two title matches.
The girls’ final will be held first, with kick-off at 9AM, between East Jaintia Hills and West Khasi Hills. The boys’ final will be contested by East Khasi Hills and Ri-Bhoi, with kick-off at 10:45AM.
In today’s girls’ semifinals East Jaintia Hills came from a goal down to beat East Khasi Hills 2-1, while West Khasi Hills defeated 2018 champions South West Khasi Hills 1-0.
The boys’ semifinals then followed, with East Khasi Hills blanking West Jaintia Hills 2-0 before Ri-Bhoi pipped West Khasi Hills 1-0.
