Shillong, Jun 7: Langsning continued their winning streak with their fourth consecutive victory in this season of the U-18 Shillong Premier League by beating Lawsohtun 1-0 at Third Ground, Polo, today.
Tremiki Lamurong scored the only goal of the contest in the 75th minute for his third goal of the season. Unsurprisingly Langsning went goalless in the first half; except in the 8-0 opener versus Nongkrem the reigning champions have not scored in the first 45 minutes.
Not only have Langsning won all four games so far, they are also yet to concede a goal this season. They are now on 12 points, two ahead of second-placed Mawkhar, who have also played four matches.
Lawsohtun, meanwhile, are still searching for their first win, having lost three and drawn one match.
Tomorrow Rangdajied United are scheduled to take on Shillong Lajong at 3:45PM.
