Shillong, Jun 12: Mawphlang and Rynjah played out an interesting 2-2 draw in Group B of the Fourth Division at Second Ground, Polo, today.
Both sides had the lead for a spell, with Rynjah claiming it in only the sixth minute with a goal by Vivian Nari.
Mawphlang struck back in the second half of the 70-minute game, with goals by Kevinson Rynjah (47′) and Ribok Rangblang (62′). However, their 2-1 lead didn’t last long, with R Lyngkhoi equalising for Rynjah in the 68th minute.
Tomorrow Lumpyngngad are scheduled to take on Green Age Club in Group B at 4PM.
