Shillong, Jul 16: Imson and Sawmer played out a goalless draw in the third match of the First Division at the JN Stadium here today.
Imson were on the defensive for most of the first half, but Sawmer couldn’t make use of their chances.
It was much more even in the second half, with end-to-end action. Ball possession didn’t appear to be a priority for either side, with attack the order of the day. A little patience might have benefitted both teams.
There will be no First Division match tomorrow. The next game will be on Thursday between Lawsohtun and Mawlai at 3:45PM.
