Shillong, Jul 29: Imson earned their first victory of the First Division 2019 season with a 1-0 victory over Lawsohtun at the JN Stadium here today.
Victory was earned via an 83rd minute own goal conceded by Lawsohtun, the only one so far this season.
A minute’s silence was held prior to the start of the match in memory of former Meghalaya Chief Minister and Speaker of the Assembly Donkupar Roy, who passed away yesterday.
Tomorrow Nongkrem are scheduled to take on Sawmer at 3:45PM.
