Shillong, Sep 5: Marbisu will end the First Division season in the relegation zone after losing their last round robin fixture 4-0 to Lawsohtun at the JN Stadium here today.
P Surong scored a brace of goals in the seventh and 74th minutes, bookending the game, with the other goals coming from S Suchiang (55’) and R Wahlang (57’).
Lawsohtun are now on eight points from six games, while Marbisu bow out with three from eight.
Tomorrow Sawmer are scheduled to face Meghalaya Police at 3PM.
