Shillong, Oct 19: Nongrim Hills and Laban played out a 1-1 draw in the Shillong Premier League at the JN Stadium here today.
In the first leg Nongrim had defeated Laban 4-2 on 10th October.
Today Asito Krose scored via a penalty for Laban in the 29th minute. Nongrim then saw a penalty of their own denied by Laban goalkeeper Mohammed Shahanas later in the first half and they weren’t able to score off the rebound either.
Batifar Swer equalised for Nongrim in the 61st minute. A cross was headed by a team mate his way and he was relatively free to take a shot, which he smashed past Shahanas’s left.
The best chance after that came Krose’s way in the 90th minute when his long-range shot was tipped over the crossbar by Nongrim goalie Jessly Sungoh.
On Monday Ryntih are scheduled to face league leaders Rangdajied United at 3PM.
