Shillong, Oct 23: Twelve Meghalaya kickboxers under the banner of the Meghalaya Association of Kickboxing Organisation won medals at the recent Federation Cup, a national event, in Dehra Dun.
The championship ran from 17th to 20th October and four kickboxers from the state won gold medals, with two picking up silver and six bronze.
Gold medallists:
Lorenza Songthiang (-54kg), Sachin Rai (-48kg), Elton Skhemlang Swer (-54kg), Fulab Kanti Barman (-54kg)
Silver medallists:
Roshan Sunar (-57kg), Mewanshanlang Kharsyiemiong (-26kg)
Bronze medallists:
Lokhi Rabha (-54kg), Samuel Mukherjee (-54kg), Nangkhraw Kharsyiemiong (-20kg), Krishna Barman (-28kg), Rudolf Sohtun (-17kg)
