Shillong, Sep 15: Meghalaya’s U-19 boys’ and girls’ 2021-22 domestic one day cricket campaigns will both begin on 28th September, the BCCI has revealed.
While the girls will be playing their Women’s U-19 One Day Trophy games in Bhubaneshwar, the boys (pictured) will be competing in the Vinoo Mankad Trophy in Ranchi. Both of Meghalaya’s teams are in the plate groups of the respective tournaments. The names of the players selected for the two squads have not been released yet by the Meghalaya Cricket Association.
These are the only competitions for which the fixtures have been published by the BCCI.
While the Meghalaya girls have been undergoing trials and training in Bangalore, the boys have been in Vadodara. This was necessitated in order to give the players the best training facilities and to avoid the full force of the monsoon in Meghalaya.
