Shillong, May 1: The Shillong Sports Association today invited clubs that are eligible to take part in its Third Division and U-20 Fourth Division leagues to formally register their intent to compete in the 2025 edition.
SSA General Secretary Dipshon L Nongbri wrote to affiliated clubs today seeking entries for the two divisions.
The U-20 Fourth Division is slated to begin on 2nd June. Players must be born on or after 1st May 2005 to be eligible.
There is no age restriction for the Third Division, which is scheduled to begin on 16th June.
Prescribed forms for the registration of players can be collected from the SSA office in Polo Ground after payment of the entry fee. The last date for entry fees to be paid is 10th May for the U-20 Fourth Division and 17th May for the Third Division at 5PM. No entry will be entertained after that. Additionally, clubs should have paid their renewal fees for 2025 to be eligible to compete.
