Shillong, Nov 5: Sohryngkham and Nongmynsong both began with victories in their Group C matches of the Shillong Sports Association’s Third Division at Polo Ground today.
In the first fixture, Bankyrshan Nongrum scored the one and only goal for Sohryngkham in their clash against Umpling. Nongrum’s goal came in the 15th minute.
The second game saw Nongmynsong defeat Umlyngka 2-0, with Kenstar Khonglam (6′) an Thomas Thabah (20′) both finding the back of the net.
