Shillong, Apr 5: Sawmer defeated Imson 3-0 in the most one-sided scoreline of the Shillong Sports Association’s First Division this season so far.
Rheadolf Nongneng Daloi scored a brace (the first player to do so) in the 5th and 58th minutes, while Diego A Khyriem scored in the 7th.
The win has also taken Sawmer to provisional first place in the points table. They currently have 6, like Nongthymmai but with a better goal difference (+5 to +3).
