Shillong, Jul 27: South West Khasi Hills’ schools won all three of their matches on the second day of the State Level Subroto Cup Football Tournament here today.
In the U-14 boys’ category, Jakrem Presbyterian HSS defeated St Paul SS of East Garo Hills 3-1, while Lyngdoh Wanniang SS edged United Chibonga SS of North Garo Hills 2-1 in the U-17 girls’ division. Balang Mawlangwir HSS, meanwhile, sailed past St Thomas HSS of South Garo Hills 5-0 in the U-17 boys’ category.
The group games of the U-14 boys’ event are taking place at the Sports Authority of India Centre in NEHU, while those of the U-17 girls’ category are taking place at Mawlai Madan Heh and U-17 boys’ at Third Ground, Polo.
