Shillong, Jan 27: Lamare FC defeated Assam Rifles 3-0 in the third quarterfinal of the Invitation Knock Out Football Tournament 2022-23 match at New Nongstoin today.
Brolington Warlarpih got Lamare going by converting a 33rd minute penalty kick.
This was followed by two goals in the second half through Donbok Lyngdoh (57′) and substitute Dibinroy Nongspung (71′).
Lamare’s Nikelson Bina was named Player of the Match.
The fourth and last quarterfinal will be between former I-League team United Sports Club of Kolkata against Meghalaya Police on 30th January at 1:30PM.
