Shillong, Jun 13: Meghalaya Police celebrated a 3-0 victory in the opening match of the 7th Invitation Wahiajer Football Tournament 2023 at Wahiajer Stadium yesterday.
MLP defeated Deinchynrum SC with the goals scored by Chesterfield Nongdhar (7′), Everestarly Rynjah (27′) and Alfortstar Sun (67′).
Marbiangki Suchiang, also of the police team, was named Player of the Match (pictured).
The next fixture will be held on 17th June at 2:30PM between Lumbhahdakha SC and Parama FC.
