Shillong, Jul 1: Galaxy FC (B) edged Nongkwar FC 2-1 in the fifth match of the Knockout Football Tournament organised by Ri Khasi SCSC at Madan Kurkalang, Bhoirymbong, today.
Teibor Dkhar (45’+1) scored at the end of the first half for Galaxy and Benny Khriam added the second in the 56th.
Millenium (only one name provided) pulled one back 10 minutes later for Nongkwar but 2-1 is how the scoreline stood till the final whistle.
The next fixture will take place on 8th July between Iaityllilang FC and Tyrsad Combine.
