Shillong, Jul 7: Mawryngkneng Mission SC defeated Ranee FC on penalties in the 7th Invitation Wahiajer Football Tournament 2023 at Wahiajer Stadium yesterday.
Regulation time finished with the scores level at 2-2. Andy Kharsati and Perry Kharsati had scored for Mawryngkneng Mission and Hunkupar Wanniang and Iohbor Nonglyer for Ranee FC. Mawryngkneng Mission then won the resulting tiebreaker.
Kopstar Lawai of the winning team was named Player of the Match.
The next game will be played on 8th July at 2:30PM between Ummulong SC and Iaineh FC.
