Shillong, Jul 9: Tyrsad Combine beat Iaitylli Sports & Cultural Cooperative Society 4-1 on penalties in the sixth match of the Knockout Football Tournament organised by Ri Khasi SCSC at Madan Kurkalang, Bhoirymbong, yesterday.
The scores were level at 1-1 at the end of regulation time, necessitating a shootout to separate the two teams.
Iaitylli had scored in the first half, with Tyrsad equalising early in the second through Badon Khongsit (48′).
The next fixture will take place on Monday between Blue Bumbar FC and Pdengshnong Mawrynkneng.
