Shillong, Aug 5: Sikai FC reached the quarterfinals of the 7th Invitation Wahiajer Football Tournament 2023 at Wahiajer Stadium today by beating Larnai SC 6-5 in a tiebreaker in the second round.
Regulation time had ended goalless and a nail-biting penalty shootout was thus called for.
Rimi Pyrtuh of Sikai FC was named Player of the Match.
The next game will be held on Monday between Thadlaskein Veterans and Rympei FC at 3PM.
