Shillong, Aug 9: Umrynjah SC and Mawlynrei SC won their respective Group A matches of the Shillong Sports Association’s U-20 Fourth Division at First Ground, Polo, here today.
Umrynjah blitzed Laitlulong SC 4-0, with three goals coming in a space of just five minutes in the first half. The goal scorers were Malvern Lyngkhoi (23′, 28′), Banteilang Kharrngi (25′) and Franky Kurbah (51′).
Later, Mawlynrei took a dominant position against Lamlynti SC (Sohiong) through Banjop Mawthoh (14′, 45′) and Winestjun Dohling (17′), though Lamlynti were able to claw a goal back thanks to Pynche Khyllait (60′).
