Shillong, Aug 26: Sikai FC defeated Mawryngkneng Mission 4-2 in a tiebreaker to reach the semifinals of the 7th Invitation Wahiajer Football Tournament 2023 at Wahiajer Stadium today.
Normal time ended 1-1 thanks to goals by Ledrik War (12′) of Mawryngkneng Mission and Guiding Suna (65′) of Sikai.
Edison Suna of Sikai was named Player of the Match.
The next quarterfinal will be played between Meghalaya Police and Thadlaskein Veterans on 31st August at 2PM.
