Shillong, Sep 4: Galaxy Juniors FC defeated Risyon SC 3-1 in the quarterfinals of the Knockout Football Tournament organised by Ri Khasi SCSC at Madan Kurkalang, Bhoirymbong, today.
Precious Kharbhih (23′), Benny Khriam (39′) and Restom Khriam (60′) scored for the winning team and Edy Dhar (47′) for Risyon.
Galaxy’s Rajat Peter Lyngdoh was adjudged Player of the Match.
The next quarterfinal match will take place on 9th September between Blue Bomber FC and Kharsyntiew FC.
