Shillong, Sep 9: Lummawbah SC recorded a whopping 5-0 victory against Riatsamthiah SC in Group C of the Shillong Sports Association’s U-20 Fourth Division at Third Ground, Polo, here today.
The other match in the same group saw Mawpdang SC blank Pynthorbah SC 2-0.
The second kick-off saw braces for Nathanial Kharnaior (10′, 49′) and Heini Paia Phalangki (13′, 41′) and one goal for Fernando Sohklet (17′) as Lummawbah dominated proceedings.
Earlier, Wellborn Syiem (35′) and Garywell Syiem (52′) scored on either side of half time in the 70-minute match for Mawpdang.
Mawpdang now have 10 points, behind only Lamlynti of Madanlyngkhi (12). Lummawbah are now third in the group with 7 points, with Pynthorbah dropping to fourth place with 6. Riatsamthiah are second from the bottom with just 2 points. All the teams have played four games each.
