Shillong, Nov 7: PFR Football Academy became the second team to reach the semifinals of the Shillong Sports Association’s Third Division after inflicting a 4-0 rout of Lawmali Pyllun SC at First Ground, Polo, here today.
The goals were scored by Samlang Rympei (38′), Robi Maring (46’P), Thymmaibor Mukhim (51′) and Fairming Suting (57′).
PFR were unbeaten in Group B, winning three and drawing one match. Lawmali Pyllun had finished second in Group D, with two wins, one draw and one defeat.
Meghalaya Police qualified for the semis yesterday.
The third quarterfinal will be on 10th November between Mylliem Lum SC and Nongmensong SC at 2PM at First Ground.
