Shillong, Jun 18: Here are the results from the sixth day (Monday) of the District Level Subroto Mukherjee Cup in East Jaintia Hills, the matches of which are taking place at Madan Deinchynrum.
In the U-17 girls’ category, a tiebreaker was required to separate Khliehriat Higher Secondary School and Musniang Secondary School after regulation time ended 0-0. Musniang won the penalty shootout 2-1.
In the same category, Dkhiah East SS were 1-0 victors against Sham Sham SS thanks to a 40th minute goal by Amethis Darnei.
In the U-15 boys’ division, Khliehriat Presbyterian HSS won 3-1 on penalties against Byndihati SS after that match also finished goalless in regulation time.
There was no such issue for Wapung HSS, who won 3-0 over Lotus SS with Nikormi Rymbai (16′), Mekerlang Ryngkhlem (44′) and Jefarson Dkhar (54′) all getting on the scoresheet.
It was even more one-sided for Step By Step SS, who defeated Sham Sham SS 5-0 thanks to goals by Euface Makhon (10′), Kevinson Dkhar (11′, 45′) and Ferdinand Tariang (25′, 35′).
