Shillong, Jul 1: One of the youngest coaches in the Calcutta Football League this year is from Meghalaya, George Vannie Lyngdoh Nongrang.

George, just 25 years old, is the assistant coach of the reserve team of Mohammedan Sporting.

He joined the Indian Super League club’s reserve side in June and assists Hakim Ssengendo, the head coach.

Before this, George was with Bunkerhill Gurgaon’s youth set-up.

As a youth footballer, he played for Sawmer SC, Rangdajied United FC, Shillong Lajong FC as well as the Meghalaya U-21 team at the Khelo India Youth Games 2020.
