Shillong, Jul 25: Kharang SC began the Shillong Sports Association’s Third Division 2024 season with a 2-0 victory over Nongumlong SC at First Ground, Polo here today.
The only game of the day, in Group A, witnessed a brace by Jospal Kurbah in the 11th and 50th minutes.
There are 21 teams participating this year, with Group A consisting of six and the other three groups five clubs each.
Kharang were promoted to this season’s Third Division after emerging as champions of last year’s Third Division.
