Shillong, Nov 25: New Shillong FC beat Thadmusem SC 4-3 in the second round of the 8th Invitation Knockout Football Tournament, organised by Wahiajer SC, today.
New Shillong scored through Bapynkmen Kharsati (19’), Basuklang Bina (21’, 27’) and Elmiroy Kharumnuid (80’+1). Samuel Shadap (34’, 49’) and Samson Nongrum (80’+4) scored for Thadmusem.
Basuklang was named Player of the Match.
This was the last second round match and the quarterfinals will begin on 29th November when Nangbah Mulang face Friends United at 1:30PM.
