Shillong, Dec 8: Lumkynsai SC and Umphrup SC will face off in the final of the 1st Football League organised by the Smit Area Sports Association after both came through their respective semifinals yesterday.
Lumkynsai beat Umiew Maw U Sam SC 2-0 with a brace by Wansiewdor Nengnong (43′, 63′), while Umphrup edged Sohryngkham SC 5-4 in a tiebreaker.
The final will take place on 30th December at 1PM at the Krissimai Mini Stadium in Smit.
The third-place playoff will be held on the same day at 11AM between Umiew Maw U Sam and Sohryngkham.
