Shillong, Dec 11: The fourth and last quarterfinal of the 8th Invitation Knockout Football Tournament, organised by Wahiajer SC, was held today with New Shillong FC defeating Sohphoh SC 3-0.
Rahbor Baino (13′, 80′) scored twice and Willinkton Nongrum (52′) once for New Shillong, who claimed the last available semifinal spot with this win.
Rahbor was named Player of the Match.
The semifinals will now follow with New Shillong involved in the first of these, which will see them go up against Jalapang SC on 21st December at 1:30PM.
