Shillong, Dec 15: A contingent of 20 archers and three officials have left Meghalaya for the National Archery Championships in Jamshedpur.
The archers will be competing in the 31st Senior Indian Round, 44th Senior Recurve and 20th Senior Compound nationals.
Teams are meant to arrive at the venue today, with the compound and Indian round events beginning tomorrow and the recurve rounds the day after. The championships will conclude on 20th December.
The state team is being led by coaches Bansaralin Dhar from the Department of Sports & Youth Affairs and AS Mercy of the Khelo India State Centre of Excellence. The team manager is Jag Prasad Thapa.
