Shillong, Nov 4: Meghalaya Police left it late but got the job done to win 2-0 against bottom side Ryntih in the Shillong Sports Association’s First Division 2025 at the SSA Stadium at First Ground, Polo, here today.
It took until the 72nd minute before the cops found their first goal through Marbiangki Suchiang and they then doubled the lead through Pynshailang Lyngkhoi (85′).
The result MLP back on level terms with Nongkseh on points – 21 each. Both sides have won all seven of their matches so far this season. Nongkseh, though, have a better goal difference (+35 to +19).
Ryntih, meanwhile, stay at the bottom of the standings. They have garnered just 1 point from six games.
