Shillong, Jan 6: Lumparing, Umrynjah and New Challenger won their respective matches in the Shillong Sports Association’s Women’s Football League 2025 at the SSA Stadium at First Ground, Polo, here today.
In Group B, Lumparing beat Lawei 2-0 through goals by Lishaphulda Khongsit (36′) and Iaphisha Marbaniang (61′).
Then, in Group A, Umrynjah pipped Mawshbuit 1-0 thanks to a 49th minute goal by Aparajita Rabha.
Group C’s match between New Challenger and Kharang also ended 1-0 thanks to Happily Lyngdoh (12′).
