Shillong, Feb 4: FC Bengaluru United have extended the contract of Allen C Lyngdoh Nongbri for the upcoming 2026-27 season, his agent has announced.

Vibrant Sports Group made the announcement in a social media post a few days ago.

Allen, who usually plays left-back, featured for Bengaluru Utd in 13 out of 16 matches in I-League 2 during the 2024-25 season, starting in 10. He is recorded as having scored one goal and also provided one assist.

He was also selected in Meghalaya’s Santosh Trophy 2025-26 team but only played in the first fixture of the preliminary round (pictured) in December against Sikkim. He was unused against Arunachal Pradesh and was then not included in the squad that travelled last month to Assam for the final round.

The I-League 2 2025-26 season has yet to begin but, as a fallout of the mess that Indian football is in at the moment, it will combine clubs from I-League 2 and I-League 3 and Bengaluru United is expected to feature in this combined league.
