Shillong, Jul 6: Golflink delivered a strong performance to beat Iaitylli 3-1 in the first quarterfinal of the Shillong Sports Association’s U-20 Fourth Division 2026 here today.
Jilistin Warbah (9′) had Golflink out in front early but Kitbok Maskut (33′) equalised before half time in the 80-minute match.
Then, in the last few minutes of normal time Golflink struck twice, through Dibian Suting (72′) and Micky Makri (80′).
All four teams that reach the semifinals will be promoted to next year’s Third Division and Golflink are the first team to do so.
