Shillong, Sep 2: The first quarterfinals of the East Jaintia Hills District Football Association’s Second and Third Division 2026 were held today, with victories for Moolamanoh SC and Cham Cham SCSC respectively in Khliehriat today.
Cham Cham were up against Youth SC Pyrtakuna in the first quarterfinal of the Third Division and regulation time ended 0-0. Cham Cham then came through the tiebreaker 4-3.
Later, in the Second Division, Moolamanoh defeated Suchen Lumiarain SC 2-0 with goals by Jespar Dkhar (15′) and Ambition Dkhar (77′).
Reaching the semifinals means that both winners from today will be promoted next season – Moolamanoh to the First Division and Cham Cham to the Second Division.
