Shillong, Nov 10: Coterie A (orange & blue) and Northeast Frontier Railways (grey) won the women’s and men’s categories of the 3rd Northeast 3v3 Basketball Challenge in Shillong on Saturday.
The 7th to 9th December tournament saw 45 men’s teams and eight women’s from Meghalaya, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram and Nagaland take part.
The players in the NFR side all play for different teams in the United Basketball Alliance.
The competition was supported by the Meghalaya Basketball Players Association.
