Shillong, Oct 27: Mawkhar picked up a 3-1 win against struggling Lawsohtun in the Shillong Sports Association’s First Division 2025 at the SSA Stadium at First Ground, Polo, here today.
Vobisterfield Marngar (5′) put Mawkhar ahead early but Bangshanlang K Wahlang (30′) equalised in the first half.
Two goals in the second took the game Mawkhar’s way, however. Rikyshan Warjri (61′) and Silbanus Diengngan (79′) were the scorers.
This was Mawkhar’s second win and they are up to 7 points now. Lawsohtun just have 1 point to show from five matches, which is more than halfway through their season.
