Shillong, Nov 11: Nongrah twice came from behind to draw with Pohkseh 2-2 in the Shillong Sports Association’s First Division 2025 today at the SSA Stadium at First Ground, Polo, here.

The other match of the day saw Mawtawar pip Lawsohtun 1-0.
Mark Wanswett (43′) took the lead for Pohkseh but his team couldn’t hold it as Mebatskhem Lyngkhoi (45’+1) equalised in first half stoppage time. Reinjoywell Wartde (73′) then put Pohkseh back in front only for Mebatskhem (78′) to score his second five minutes later.
In the earlier match, Aldo M Nongneng scored the only goal of the game for Mawtawar in the 33rd minute. The win took Mawtawar back up to third place with one game to play.
Lawsohtun are almost confirmed as one of the teams to be relegated, though there is still a way for them to avoid the drop – they would have to hope Ryntih defeat Nongrah on 17th November and Lawsohtun would then have to beat Nongkrem on 20th November.
Thursday’s fixture:
Nongthymmai vs Nongkrem (postponed from 8th October), 1:15PM
