Shillong, May 17: Meghalaya won their fourth match in a row in the Swami Vivekananda U-20 Men’s National Football Championship 2026 today, this time taking down Rajasthan 3-0.
Victory means that Meghalaya topped Group A with a full 12 points and qualified for the quarterfinals in Narainpur, Chhattisgarh.
The match started bright and early at 7:30am and Meghalaya earned a quick lead after Mebanlamlynti Masharing (3′) scored from an Imeral Jana corner kick.
The lead was doubled through Ryan Gibbs Kharnaior (17′). A long ball sent three Meghalaya players forward with five from Rajasthan for company. After luring three defenders away with a feint, Ryan quickly turned and took a shot with his left foot that beat the goalkeeper.
