Shillong, Jun 8: A couple of second half goals saw Shillong Lajong to a comfortable 2-0 victory over Rangdajied United in the U-18 Shillong Premier League at Third Ground, Polo, here today.
Gladdy Kharbuli scored via a perfect free-kick in the 50th minute to give Lajong the lead before two Rangdajied defenders got in each other’s way to allow Amon Lepcha to steal through and double the lead in the 62nd minute.
Rangdajied, for their part, had a few chances of their own but didn’t really challenge SLFC goalkeeper Urbanity Makhroh.
This was Rangdajied’s second straight defeat and Lajong’s second straight win.
On Monday Smit are scheduled to take on Mawkhar at 3:45PM.
