Shillong, Jan 31: Sehlung FC defeated Kuchaphrang FC 2-0 in the second quarterfinal of the 6th Mawten Invitation Football Tournament yesterday.
Man-of-the-match Aenam Jyrwa scored the first goal in the 14th minute and, despite greater chances in the second half, Sehlung were able to double their lead after a 67th minute goal by Shano Tariang.
The first semifinal had seen Six United defeat former champions Eastern Pirates 3-0 on 22nd January.
