Shillong, Jun 19: Sanmer demolished Lapalang 3-0 in Group D of the Shillong Sports Association’s Third Division 2026 here today.
Also in the same group, Umpling and Lumparing played out a 1-1 draw. Meanwhile, in Group C, Pomlakrai were down a goal before coming back to win 3-2 against Rynjah.
At the MFA Ground Bryan Kharbudnah (29′), Damangskhem Thabah (62′) and Maxcimilando Tariang (69′) scored in Sanmer’s win. Matches of the Third Division are of 80 minutes’ duration.
Earlier, at the SSA Stadium, First John Paul Khyriem (2′) struck early for Rynjah before Nicky Kurkalang (10′, 20′) and Peacemaker Lyngdoh (13′) turned the tables for Pomlakrai. However, Rynjah found the back of the net once again in the 34th minute through Aldrin Lyngdoh but that was the last goal of the fixture and Pomlakrai held on for a 3-2 win.
The goals also came early in the other game, with Joyningstar Thongni (4′) opening for Umpling before Joslang Lyngkhoi (12′) levelled for Lumparing.
