Shillong, Oct 21: The second day of the Indian Golf Union’s North East India Ladies & Junior Girls Golf Championship saw teenage golfer from Karnataka, Rishika Muralidhar, shoot a 1 over 73.
An unlucky triple bogey on the 15th hole saw Muralidhar lose three shots on one hole itself but she still maintained a two-shot lead over day one leader Smriti Bhargava and she currently leads the overall championship going into the final round.
Meanwhile, in Category B Girls, another teenager from Karnataka, Saanvi Somu, shot a consistent 8 over on both days and she leads the Category B Girls championship by one shot over Mannar Brar from Chandigarh.
