Shillong, Nov 16: Both matches in Group D of the Shillong Sports Association’s Third Division ended in 1-1 draws at Polo Ground here today.
The first contest saw Lapalang lead through Founder Lawrniang (46’) but Lumdiengjri levelled via Diblostar Kharbuki (70’).
Later, Krang’s Kitkupar Mylliem (29’) scored the opening goal before Nongumlong equalised in the 68th minute through Dondor Shanpru.
The results mean that Nongumlong and Lumdiengjri are through to the quarterfinal stage as they both have four points each. They will meet on 20th November in the final match of the group, a fixture that will decide who goes top of Group D.
