Shillong, Dec 2: Ibashisha Khongwet found the back of the net three times as Meghalaya defeated Pondicherry 4-0 in their Group A match of the women’s Senior National Football Championship in Kuthuparamba, Kerala, today.
This was Meghalaya’s last group game. They had previously lost to defending champions Manipur 4-0 on Sunday and 2-1 to Daman & Diu on Tuesday.
Khongwet scored in the sixth, 55th and 84th minutes. The other goal came via Saralin Warlarpih.
