Shillong, Dec 4: Shillong Lajong became the champions of the 29th edition of the Shirui Lily Cup in Ukhrul, Manipur, by winning the final against Keinou LASA 4-3 on penalties today.
The tournament was organised by the Ukhrul District Sports Association and comprised of a total of 10 teams.
The champions walk away with Rs 1.75 lakh, while the runners-up take home Rs 1.25 lakh.
Lajong had defeated AIM in the first semifinal on Wednesday. Keinou then beat TRAU 4-2 in a penalty shootout on Thursday in the second semi.
